Davis NonProfit Consulting was founded in 2011 and is lead by two principals, Russell and Rebecca Davis, who cumulatively have served the nonprofit sector for more than 50 years.
Rebecca H. Davis, PhD, CFRE
Rebecca has more than twenty-five years of professional experience in academic and non-profit settings in fundraising, event management, volunteer coordination, adult education, research, and writing. A graduate of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Faculty Academy, she is a Master Trainer and registered fundraising mentor. Since 2007, she has also been a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). She has presented nationally on non-profit marketing, fundraising, and volunteer coordination and has worked with non-profits across the nation to improve their fundraising and marketing results. She has also served on the marketing faculties of the Georgia Center for Nonprofits and of the Business School at Anderson University.
Rebecca holds a PhD from Emory University in Atlanta and is the author of Women and Power in Parliamentary Democracies, the editor of a comparative politics textbook and several journal articles, and the recipient of local, national, and international teaching, writing, and leadership awards including a 2013 Apex Award for graphic design of a nonprofit newsletter.

C. Russell Davis
C. Russell Davis is Director of the North Georgia Conference Camp and Retreat Ministries, in his eighth year serving in this position. He is responsible for the ministry and facilities of Glisson Camp and Retreat Center, for the emerging conference ministries which include the Experiential Leadership Institute (ELI) and Grow Day Camps as well as for guiding the expansion of North Georgia Camp and Retreat Ministries to serve 5,000 summer campers by 2020.
He has served the local church in youth ministry, as a student pastor, in appointed and beyond the local church capacities for almost thirty years. In his twenty-two years in camping and retreat ministry, Russell has served camps in the Virginia, Oklahoma and South Carolina annual conferences of the United Methodist Church prior to coming home to North Georgia. He has led and designed workshops and events for a variety of United Methodist and American Camp Association regional and national conferences, has been a visitor for the American Camp Association (ACA) for the past twelve years, and has been elected to serve on the Association of United Methodist Camp & Retreat Ministries as incoming Vice-Chair.
Russell attended Georgia Southern University (then, College) in Statesboro, GA (which is where he met Becky) during the Erk Russell national championship years and attended seminary at the Candler School of Theology at Emory.
